We finally took our first big bike trip last Friday. Dennis, Paul and I met at 6 AM in front of Dennis’ house and rode along storrow drive, to the Minuteman Bike Path at Alewife all the way to Bedford. All in all about a 40 mile roundtrip. The good news is I made it although my heart rate monitor showed an icon of a heart exploding multiple times. The bad news is that Paul whom I was counting to be the weak link and quit just before the race hence give me an easy way out, was the best biker out there (despite his poor form). Apparently our boy has been practicing, he even left Dennis in the dust a few times. They were both were very gracious and waited for me to catch up multiple times along the way. `

Bijan once again declined our repeated overtures to join us. He is apparently ‘training’ for his triathlon in the comfort of his own couch. Take a look at his blog for the progress he has made.

On a lessor note, I now hate Suunto and love Garmin. More on this later.

Here is also couple of links of the path we took.
